In 2011 IEE produced more equipment for the explosives industry and for more customers than ever before.
This however proved to be very challenging with the limitation in workshop and office space.
With this at the forefront of our minds, in spring 2011 IEE entered into a contract to design & build a custom production
facility offering the business more than double the floor space currently enjoyed. This will enable IEE to expand in all
areas of the business, giving us the ability to meet our future customers’ needs and improve lead-times for equipment.
With the design and planning process well under way, we expect to have the new facility in operation by the spring of 2012.
